The Founder’s Story

Her first business failed. Her second suffered due to a scam. Her third went bankrupt during a pandemic. And yet…Today, Khadija Usman runs a global coaching company that’s catered to people from over 20 countries. At 18, she started saving Eidi. Used that to launch a clothing line. But her co-founder dropped out. So she pivoted to the stock market. And she did well—until she didn’t.

Her investment in a “promising” business turned out to be a Ponzi scheme. COVID hit.She had no money, 2 young kids, and a husband battling depression. She was at rock bottom. But she didn’t stay there.With the support of a few good friends—and some great coaches—she started again. This time with purpose. This time with GRIT.

Khadija founded GRIT Coaches to democratize access to quality coaching. To help people unlearn societal conditioning. To make transformation affordable and real.But life wasn’t done testing her. Just as her coaching business gained momentum—another banking scam wiped her out. Still, she didn’t stop.

Khadija earned a full scholarship from a Coaching Academy in the UK to become an ICF Level 2 Certified Coach and Coach Educator.
